So I went to Dreamland tonight and I was totally unimpressed. I had heard so may good things about it and I just did not find it to be that great at all. I usually love BBQ, but i barely ate any of it. I just thought that, after everything I've heard about how great it is, I just didn't find it all that appealing. So my favorite place to eat around here is still definately Newk's.

Also, I've been going to the Rec. every night lately and tonight, while running around the track, I noticed that the people playing bball, soccer, and volley ball in the gym bellow the track are really segregated. All the black people play bball on one side and all the white people play either bball or volley ball on the other side. I dunno, I guess people usually have more friends that are the same race, but I think it's stupid.

I am totally obsessed with dogs and would do ANYTHING to be able to have a big dog down here. Unfortunately, I cannot find an apartment close enough to campus that will let me have a dog (or one big enough to even be considered a dog). Today while I was walking around on the quad I saw 6 labs and a weimeraner. It was awesome. I totally want a yellow lab, but I guess I'll have to wait another year.

I am totally unadventerous and only ever go to Newk's when I eat out in Tuscaloosa. And every time I go to Newk's, I get a chicken salad sandwhich, plain potato chips, and a Dr. Pepper. But, I'm hoping I'm going to start branching out soon and maybe find somewhere else that I like.

I'm in a Supper Club, which means my family and 5 other families from my hometown cook out or go out to eat once a month. Since 7 out of the 11 kids in my Supper Club go to Alabama, we've decided to have our own Supper Club and go to different restaurants in Tuscaloosa once a month.

Last month we went to Cyprus Inn, which I had been to before and absolutely love. And this month we're going to Dreamland. I've never been a huge fan of bbq, so this could be interesting.

Last month when we were eating at Cyprus Inn, we were discussing possible places we could go over the next few months. I hadn't heard of most. So i'm actually getting pretty excited. I'm a HUGE fan of food!

Only 5 of the 7 people made it to Cyprus Inn last month. My sister was doing sorority things, another girl was sick and I had sorority stuff to do so I was only able to stay for around 30 minutes. It's going to be pretty impossible to get everyone together with the insanely busy lives of college students, but we'll see what happens.
